History of the classics - Mercedes Benz
I would like to tell you about the history and cars of the most important car brand in Germany – the Mercedes – Benz.
This concern makes very beautiful and expensive cars. As usual Mercedes – Benz cars join to F1 racing in McLaren – Mercedes Team.
In the first time Karl Benz and Daimler created their own car factory. It called Daimler – Benz. But in 1923 the factory was cracked about 2 parts. The 1 part was Daimler concern and it called Chrysler. And the 2 part was the Mercedes – Benz.
Mercedes was a Karl`s daughter. After that point started the history of Mercedes – Benz Concern.
This is the first car of that concern – MB 280 GTO.
This car is very expensive and muscle for that period.
And this car was very comfortable and luxurious.
And I would like to tell you about classic cars of 70 – 90 years. This is a collective photo of all models of those years.
You can see all classic cars W124, E220 and L430.

In the 1980s, Mercedes built the world's first robot car, together with the team of Professor Ernst Dickmanns at Bundeswehr Universität München. A culmination point was achieved in 1995, when Dickmanns' re-engineered autonomous S-Class Mercedes took a long trip from Munich in Bavaria to Copenhagen in Denmark, and back. On highways, the robot achieved speeds exceeding 175 kilometres per hour roughly 110 miles per hour. The car's abilities has heavily influenced robot car research and funding decisions worldwide.
And in 2003 was created a grand of concern MB SLK McLaren. It was builded for Michael Schumacher, because he joined to MB F1 Team.
